The RED RIBBON World Day

Hi ladies..

today is december 1st 2011..

as we now, it's a world AIDS day..

just for information for you guys..

I took a few paragraphs from wikipedia Indonesia about aids..

What is AIDS?

Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome or Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDSabbreviated) is a collection of symptoms and infections (or: syndrome) arising out ofdamage to the human immune system caused by HIV infection

Own virus called Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV for short) is the virus that weakens the immunity in the human body

How dangerous AIDS for Human?

AIDS has infected an estimated 38.6 million people worldwide. In January 2006,UNAIDS in collaboration with the WHO estimate that AIDS has caused the death of morethan 25 million people since it was first recognized on June 5, 1981. Thus, this disease is one of the deadliest plague in history.

And the sad fact bout people with AIDS..

Social penalties for people with HIV / AIDS, are generally more severe when compared with patients with other deadly diseases. Sometimes the social punishment is alsotertimpakan to health workers or volunteers, are involved in caring for people living withHIV / AIDS (PLWHA).

they are sometimes abandoned by friends, the environment, even family..

they need support and love from us..

My friends who life with AIDS or any dangerous disease all over the world, please be confidence, cheerful, and keep fighting for your life.. :)

God likes people strong and not easily give up..

KAIN TENUN NTB INDONESIA

Pernah terpikir ga sih, susahnya bikin kain tuh kaya apa??

Kadang saat penjual menawarkan hasil karya mereka atau lainnya, kita sebagai pembeli dengan bakat alamiah mencoba tawar menawar harga serendah mungkin, semakin murah semakin puas rasanya. Kalian tahu ga sih, kalo ternyata ngebuat 1 kain dengan ukuran shawl mini 100cm x 20 cm (Nebak...) pokoknya pas di leher deeeh :D. Menenunnya itu butuh waktu 2 minggu loooh ...kasihan yaaa dan lama sekali, mereka hanya menjual seharga Rp. 50,000 saja, murahkaaaan...

Tapi karya mereka itu sungguh indah.

Menurut keterangan warga Desa Sasak NTB, wanita asli sana itu dianggap sudah berhak dinikahi jika sudah pandai menenun kain, apalagi hasil tenunnya bagus... ^_^

HFW day 3 : Break the Rule

I have no rule when it comes to fashion because fashion is not about rule but personality. I always combine different colors, prints and textures that maybe other people thinks 'it's weird' and said "I will never put this outfit together' because sometimes I realizing myself that my outfit is so weird, abnormal, and unsuitable each others. I love colors, I love prints, and it's crazy how I never think more than 1 minute to wear them together.

This time, I'm way too rebel and also weird with my style. wearing black socks, boots, and harem pants. such a weird combination, I know. but hey, the themes of HFW this time is all about 'breaking the rule', so break it and have fun!

backstage and the show

Walking on catwalk, Wearing beautiful dresses, Met designers, and many new friends (models), I enjoyed my first day as a model ! Lucky girl, I learned how to walk on catwalk in modeling course and won some fashionshow competitions but.... it was long time ago. when i was a little tiny cute girl :p hahaha. am I cute ? zzzzzz
