Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda:
Quote::
–hadith riwayat Muslim. Hadith no 212-

Currently there has been a widespread of emails regarding this 'high bun' in Muslim women when adorning their shawls/scarves. Yes, I too am guilty, as you all can see--obviously. I am quite confused now...
This all goes back to when I'm in high school in 2003(if I'm not mistaken), I have been putting on my hair bun quite high underneath my tudung. Ask my friends, all of 'em know that it's sorta like my trademark at school,then matrics, then uni--until today.
The exact reason I put it up high is actually because I just like it high as it does not disturb the back of my neck(I'm eczema prone, so I do not want my neck to be itchy with the hair falling at my neck. My skin is allergic to some things that I don't wanna mention here),meanwhile my hair isn't that long after all. Then suddenly these days ladies seem to like the high bun trend..
So the confusion goes here is when it's not my intention to display the condition of my hair inside, but I just practise it for comfort. Is it considered makruh, or haram? Cause seriously I feel bad when reading the hadis as my hairbun is quite obvious. Ikutkan hati, I don't wanna change the style. Cause I have lived with it since I first started wearing a headscarf. :(
Oh, do note that I do not wear my bun higher than my forehead. It's sorta like semi-high or something..
Help.
