Other than the fact that I froze my tooshie off, it was nice... Well done to the ladies who put in all the effort to organise such a special night... A night so special that it dedicated all the proceeds to feed the poor during the month of Ramadhaan... to help them fast... to make it easy on them... Mashaallah!
I have no photos of the show as I didn't have a decent camera, and the iphone camera totally sux! Also, because we are usually warned during such events not to take any photos. :) I have some really bad quality photos of us (thanks!!! to the iphone --- you would think such an amazing device would have a super dooper camera, wouldn't you?).
The clothing range was made up of abayas (abayat) (if you don't know what this is, just Google it as "define: abaya" or just as "what is abaya"). There were some that I liked very much, and some that weren't for my liking. It's a matter of taste, you know what I mean... They were far from the traditional black Saudi abayas, and looked trendy yet modest.
And as for the attendees... All I can say is mashaallah! Everybody looked so beautiful and elegant... Such events are a great opportunity/excuse for us women to get all dolled up and feeling great about ourselves.
A big thank you to the amazing ladies who made this night happen. May Allah reward them for all their efforts.
And now for the photos...
As you can see, I didn't go for the 'too red' scarf... I wish I had... I would have looked more 'vibrant'. LOL
And this lady here is my 'yummy mummy to be' friend. She is one of the most trendiest Muslim preggos I have seen. I haven't seen her wear any maternity clothes throughout her pregnancy, and she only has like 5-6 weeks left for labour. How hot does she look? Say mashaallah :)
And this little hottie didn't like the way her face came out, so I 'disguised' her. LOL
I always love the way she looks, and she always puts effort into her outfits. Oh and I've been seeing her wear some gorgeous stuff lately.. such as her cardi/top here, and she had a stunning necklace the other time I saw her.. Apparently she shops at TEMPT. I have to go, I have to see, I have to touch... and maybe even buy. :)) Oh and her scarf (you can see) and her skirt are proudly brought to you from me, edb Collection. ;)
