What I Wore Today: True Love

I don't mean to mislead anyone, but today's "What I Wore" isn't a literal one which is why I added the "True Love" to the title.

This evening I had a one-to-one love session with my kitty cat Pamuk (pronounced pah-mook it's Turkish for 'cotton' and is also used for the colour 'white') -- it's also a very cliche name to give a white cat... dunno what I was thinking, but it suits her so well. :) I can say that by the end of our session, I wore her fur all over me. :) She just loves to be fondled and patted...

I've had 2 male cats before Pamuk. They too love(d) (I lost one too early) being patted and loved, but I think it's just a female thing... I just can't explain how much she loves it. As soon as I take her into my arms she falls asleep.

I was actually very against keeping a female cat due to their reproduction rates :) but I'm so grateful to have her... I think I'm actually starting to get clucky and need to get preggers soon! Well, maybe next year.. Khayr inshaallah :)

Yup, that's my baby alright! She's approximately 7 months old and has a huge appetite mashaallah. I love the fact that she will eat anything unlike most cats who are very fussy with their food (like myself lol)

ahhh yes, this is what happens when you don't have children... you go gaga over your pets! :)) But isn't she adorable?! You can't see her eyes in these photos, but she is a unique cat. She has one green and one blue eye. These cats are specific to Turkey and they come from a Turkish city called Van, which is why they are called "Van cats".
