Hey, it's been ages since I last wrote about 'love', right? I love to do so once in a while(if you haven't noticed). Why? Simply because I'm a girl filled with so much love, and I just love everything lovey dovey. Fullstop. Hehe.
Who wouldn't wanna be in love? Never have I met that kinda person. So yeah, to cut to the chase, lemme confess, I'm a hopeless romantic douche okay! I really really, no I mean REALLY love everything related to love. I don't know why but somehow the mechanism of when two people are in love, they just somehow creates magic. A magic that maybe nobody else can see, but only the two of em can actually feel it between themselves. That again what makes love a special feeling.
I would do just about anything in the name of love. To me, when Allah has provided me with a special friend at the moment, I would definitely go all out to make sure that the relationship I'm in would be magical. I have a few stories from my past that I find myself proud of doing so. For instance, I just love everything handmades, so a gift from me would mean something that I would make out of my bare hands. I just don't know why, but I find the effort of handmade gifts are much more meaningful than bought ones, but of course, sometimes a new handbag or watch would do :P But you get what I mean eh? :)
These happened long long time ago, where I would actually make little heart cut outs and leave love notes everywhere in his car/bag/wallet/pockets etc. I made pop-up birthday cards. I made a heart shaped sculpture(or so) using clay, foam, sand paper, paint etc. I made wooden gift boxes. I made scrapbooks filled with little pictures,love notes or even movie tickets etc. I watched religiously of the cartoon anime Initial-D cause I knew he was a sucker for big bikes and fast cars(Which I'm not that of a fan pun). I made a freakin hand-painted banner of the size of 2' x 6' and hung it on his hostel block-let the content of the banner be a secret for now k(For the public to see, mind you..Crazy???I know!!) and so much more I can't even remember anymore.
The issue here is that, when I do these, some of my friends disagrees with me. They say that a girl shouldn't do this and that as to the extent of how I did. I mean, I did get the fair share from the other side too, but it's just that I like doing things like this. So why is it so wrong for a girl to do so? Can't a girl express how she feels? But from what I know, when you give and take in a relationship, everything will be fine.. It's all about balance.
I'd say if you are somewhat like me, you go girl! Never let anyone stop you from showing your love to your partner(appropriately okay. You girls reading this post are not kindergarteners). Guys may not show how they feel towards us like how we do, cause yes, they are actually confusing beings. Haha. But he has his own way. When he surprises you one fine day, then you'll know that he's not playing games! :D
I hope that one day, when I've found my soulmate, and if he happens to be my hubs, I'd defintely get my 'love box' out again and think of newer ways to show him how I feel. Newer and more awesome ways as maybe at that time, everything's halal, so I can just do anything I like! Lol. Long gone the days when I'll make another love banner. Haha.. That was soooo college years!
