Last weekend we roamed around the city then visited a place called La Perouse. I wouldn't know weather to call it a park, a beach, or whatever... It is one of the most beautiful and clean locations I have ever seen.
I don't know much about it, but I do know that it once used to be a prison. It's interesting that they would use such a gorgeous place as a prison. Anyhow, that was in the past, and now that prison has become a museum... That is what I have been told. As I mentioned, I don't know much about it, and have not yet Googled it. LOL
We were there for about an hour (I am endeavouring to go fishing there soon inshaallah) and I lost count of the number of brides that were there for their professional wedding photos. I was a little surprised, because it was 7pm... Shouldn't they be at the wedding reception or at least making their way there by that time?
Anyhow... There was a cute Asian couple. They wanted to have some photos taken where we were chilling out, so we made way for them, and they allowed me to take a couple shots from afar. That day, I knew I should have taken my camera with me. I usually do! However, this time I was cam-less and took around 100 photos on my iphone that day. Oh well, next time...
Here are a few of the photos from that beach... The city photos are for another post... :)

I love the texture of these rocks
That large mass behind me is the prison that used to be.
So cute... May Allah grant them a happy life together and bless them with a lovely family...
Why are we so fascinated/charmed by weddings/brides?
