The Turkish Man's Fashion Sense

Some Turkish men love to put thought into what they wear and wear it nicely... contrary to the common belief that they are dirty and barbaric. :P Okay, I am generalising a 'little' here. :)

There are also those who don't care what they wear or what they look like when they step outside. A Muslim, man or woman needs to show pride in what they wear. A Muslim needs to be clean and presentable... even when... in fact, especially when hosting guests/friends at their homes. I am not talking about the amount of coverage here, I am not talking about anything to do with the shape or measure of hijab. The main point here is that we need to be clean and presentable. So for example, please iron your stuff before you wear them. :)

Now, my husband is one of those men who likes clothing items that do not require any ironing... or even washing. :P He's a total brute unfortunately, which means a lot of hard work on my behalf. Although, it's important that he is a good person with pure intentions, so it makes up for it.

The good thing about my husband and his lack of dressing up (I'm not talking about fashion, he has no idea what to wear with what.. ever!) is that I can make him wear anything... almost! I actually need to revamp his wardrobe, but will hold the thought for another year. He has no time to go out anywhere due to his over-demanding job, so it would only be a waste to purchase new items that are just going to sit in the cupboard unworn. Therefore I have just let him be for the time being. He wears anything he gets his hands on and sometimes looks awful :P but I am not saying anything for the time being. :)

Anyhow, I was checking out a website when I noticed the 2012 spring-summer launch photos for a men's fashion brand... featuring Turkish model (he was crowned top model yonks ago) and actor Kenan Imirzalioglu.

I absolutely love the the styles he is modelling for the Turkish men's fashion brand Kip and thought I will share. :)

I absolutely love blazers worn with casual t-shirts!

Loving the plaid blazer with the elbow patches! I've wanted a similar blazer for myself actually! Oh and that weekender... I can do with one of that too! Hmm... I was actually supposed to be keeping my own desires out of this post, but I guess I can turn anything to my own advantage LOL

OMG! Who says scarves are for women alone? Everything I love in men's fashion: Blazer with tee, white trousers, scarf...

There's another scarf! I love the style they've depicted in these photos for Kip.
