Short Trip to Singapore - My Amethyst

Phew! I can barely walk now.. Why? Cause I spent the last few days walking about town, in Singapore! Yep, my dad decided to take all of us to visit the Titanic Exhibition held at the Art Science Museum, Marina Bay Sands. I gotta tell you, the exhibition was a blast!!! The setting was done as if we were in the original Titanic ship ok! Everything was explained graphically meticulous! Hence all those times spent watching the Titanic movie was worth it cause now, I really really know how it all went. This exhibition was held in conjunction of the 100 years anniversary of the Titanic tragedy in April 1912. And being a Captain, my dad explained everything really well to my family so we understood better. Yay.. Love my family! :D

And there was this cool Andy Warhol art exhibition too! This was definitely the highlight for me and my sister as we're art students ourselves. Too bad we couldn't snap images through out the whole exhibition..huhu.. Would love to share with ya'll what I saw.. And what else eh.. Ooh, we visited Masjid Sultan, which is was built in 1924. To me, when you travel and stop by a local masjid to perform solah, is what makes your travel many times more meaningful. Trust me. Previously I never tried that before, but now, when I do, I feel that the trip is somehow complete :D We had the famous Singapore murtabak too! My mom wanted to have a try, so we headed to Muscat Street to get some. And lastly, one can never travel without shopping, aite? So we did some shopping too heee..

Perth8: Babies do Bring Joy - My Amethyst

Phew! I have been sitting and staying and taking care of my sis and her lil bub at the hospital. And to this point, both of them are getting well after the complications they had. A huge relief for all of my family members. Plus, my eldest sister had just delivered her own bundle of joy too. Ariz farhan the name is. So three nephews for me now! Weehuu!! Alhamdulillahhhh...

Perth9: Sunflowers, I love! - My Amethyst

Anyway today my sis is discharged from the hospital, while my mom, just got on her flight back to M'sia.. Things are looking up and I think that everything is gonna be ok :)

And since it's summer now, I think I'd put on my maxi dress for a walk outside. The weather is just perfect. Sunny, windy and dry..I love! Lotsa Oz gals too, had put on their maxi dresses :)

Perth6: False Alarm..hoho.. - My Amethyst

Went to the hospital today as my sis had felt some contraction. But the midwife said she was still on her early stage.. So yeah, kinda like false alarm. Cheeky lil bub. Made his mommy worried but then decided to still stay inside... da besar nanti, siap! hehehe.. So then went to Fremantle as the midwife suggested my sis to do a bit of exercising. And plus me wanna visit there too! ;p

Ughh..to-the-hospital-attire?Yeah, as we didn't plan on going to Fremantle actually. Huaaa.. Baru nak pakai maxi dress T_T

Huaaa.. best betul coolness of the air at Fremantle Port. The sea is crystal clear too. I lovee..

Perth5: A day of Anticipation - My Amethyst

Ok I won't bore you guys with my shopping buys lagi..hehe..

Why anticipate I say? Because today is actually the due date of my sis's baby delivery. hehe.. But lil bub decided to stay inside longer kot...So your mommy dearie has to wait la...hehe...

Went out today to Perth City and Osborne Park. Since it's my first time here, so my mom insisted that we'd go out eventhough they have been to these places before. Wekkk.. hehe.. It's getting sunny too.. Feels so great as you can feel the sun's ray while winds blowing in your face. Cool air. And I don't sweat here too. Sangat besh. :)

Perth4: Crafter Lover - My Amethyst

My day started again this morning, having my cereal for breakfast, then me and sis went to shop for my diy utensils!! Having heard before that I'd die if I see the craft warehouse/store, seeing it today really made my heart drop! Being a craft and diy lover, this store is just to awesome to be true! Within the certain budget I have, I feel like crying that I can't take all of those gems, buttons, baubles, pins and felts!

But I just took some and eagerly went to the cotton cloths section. And yes. Again. I wanna die seeing it. Ughhh.. But I didn't take much anyway.. Gotta save up for other peoples stuff.

Then later went to Perth City for a walk continued with fetching my mom at the airport. Now everybody's here! Yeehaa!

Perth3: Little Miss Sunshine - My Amethyst

Waiting for the sunshine today..Basically at home, I'm stuck with wearing socks. Coz I still can't stand the coldness. Belum winter lagi..Aduhh..

Btw, my camera decided to space me out!!The memory card somehow got all my images 'hidden'. I can't seem to see it even in the camera or even in the PC. How to retrieve back my pictures??Anybody know how? It's driving me insane as there are images of my dear late atuk just before he left.. :( If only I could recover those images only, it'd be good enough for me..

Love the clear blue sky effect. We don't get this a lot back in Malaysia,yeah?

For lil bub and me..hoho..big bub..

Perth2: Supre Exploration - My Amethyst

Woke up by the whoozing sounds of the wind outside. Seriously, it's freezing. For me la.. My body cannot adjust yet. Ughh.. It rained too. So can you imagine the coldness I felt? To add up, I brought only 'summer' clothes..haha Actually the ones which I would wear everyday in Malaysia..

Then later, me n sis went to SUPRE! After selling clothes from SUPRE in my dearest GLITZEE, I finally can step in to their actual store. It's like a warehouse too, it's so big, I think fashion lovers would wanna die innit! Hehe..

Then went to COLES and had our lunch there..

Btw, animal prints are so in right now right? I have one more of those scarf I'm wearing, sape nak, leave me a comment k! It goes for RM20 :) But I can only post it to you after I get back to Malaysia. It's so Yuna-ish btw. Must I say more? ;p

Perth1: Brain Freeze - My Amethyst

Alhamdulillah my flight journey went well today. Arrived at 3pm at Perth Airport and waited for my sis n bro in law to pick me up. I remembered her telling me the weather here in Perth now is the end of spring going to summer. But when I stepped out of the airport, I was stuttering!! Sejukk!! Guess I cannot adapt yet cause they said, they didn't feel the coldness.. Anyway, when I arrived, I noticed that the suburb areas of Perth has really fresh air. And tiny2 buildings! I don't know, they just seem a bit small for me.. hehe..

Should I? Hehe..

Around Curtin. Seriously breathtaking! Wish to pursue my masters there..

Then went back and rest from the jetlag that I'm facing..(Bajet!)..

All in all, I like it here!! It's so serene and calm!

TANJUNG BIDARA GETAWAY

What better way to spend my public holiday last Wednesday than to spend it at the beach, right? My former uni mates from UTM and me decided to organize a mini BBQ gathering today as we seldom get to see each other nowadays. So, we headed to Tanjung Bidara Beach, Malacca. Alhamdulillah the weather was fantastic! And of course, our BBQ grilled foods were even more amazing! Heee..

So, I decided to put on my beach hat, paired with my old straw bag, to just compliment the whole beach babe scene hehehe..

Seeing the vast ocean, all I could say was, Subhanallah, which means "Glory to God" (this phrase is often used when praising Allah or exclaiming awe at His attributes, bounties, or creation) for Tanjung Bidara was such a quaint lil beach of its own. And what made my short getaway so much more than just a getaway, was when my sister called to inform us that there was a Tsunami alert that evening, due to the 8.7 earthquake that occurred in Acheh. My loved ones was worried sick because there I was, at the beach when the alert came in. Alhamdulillah, nothing happened to me and my friends. Syukur.
