ADSL Companies

I'm on a monthly 80 GB plan, but only 35 GB is during peak hour and the remaining 45 GB is during off peak hour (between 4am and 9am!!!). So we usually end up using our 35 GB almost 1 week before our plan is up.

Now why am I writing about this? Simply because it's that time of the month, and I can't get decent speed which means I can hardly access anything properly. I even have great difficulty downloading/uploading translation texts to/from customers. So yeah I'm pissed and just venting.

I use TPG for my internet and they don't have ADSL 2 (it's a more improved and fast version of the standard ADSL) available in my suburb. I used to be quite happy with TPG's service 1 year ago, but in the last 6 months they have started to stuff up. I'm not too happy, and I'm even more pissed about their payment terms. They only have direct debit available, and I hate it!!! I really hate direct debit, because I never know when I will have cash in my account as I work freelance, and clients hardly ever pay on the agreed date. I had my internet disconnected 2 times for this reason, and yeah I hate the fact that I'm paying almost $80/month for 35 GB rather than the 80 GB that is advertised.

So naturally, 80 GB would be more than enough if I was allowed the entire limit. Anyhow... I would like to ask Aussie readers if they could recommend any good internet company for heavy users like our household? I need speed and GB. Oh and it has to be reliable. The price isn't a big issue, as I can't earn money if it weren't for my internet connection. So yeah, please, any suggestions will be appreciated.
