NUDE ALERT!!!

No, not NUDE as in NAKED. If you are interested in fashion you would already know that I am referring to the colour nude. :)

As the warm weather hits Australia (it just hit us here in Melbourne last week), there is another popular colours besides this summer's brights; Nude!

I already mentioned in a previous post that I love bright colours, but I am loving nude too. It's gorgeous! I had read somewhere that "nude is the new black", but this was last year (had I mentioned Australia is slow to follow world fashion?!).

I love the gorgeous nude colour clothing (and lipstick), but my favourite is the shoe! I love the idea of swapping black shoes for a nude one, but I don't have any!

Note to Self 1: Buy a pair of stunning nude shoes; be it flats, sandals, or heels. I think they look better in heels, but oh well, still can't manage to wear them.

Note to Self #2: Practice makes perfect; wear heels in the house to get used to them! :)

Nude colour shoes look even more stunning under the bright coloured dresses. They don't stand out like the black ones do, so yeah, I'm definitely for them. I think they even look hotter under black outfits. I just love the milky nude look. even with accessories! Large chunky nude bangles, rings... Just looks awesome against the skin. I think it looks hot on every skin colour no matter how dark or light you are. Hmm, I definitely need to do a nude set and play with a couple of looks that may be suitable for hijabis...

So what do you think about going nude? :) You know what I mean!!! :)))) Do you love love love 'em like myself? Or you prefer to give it a miss?

What can I say? Just gorgeous. I love the way this purple looks with the nude shoes. Doesn't the nude just compliment her skin colour? I know the dress isn't suitable for hijabis, but this one is for the shoes and skin tone. :) You can also get ideas on the use of colour. However, I think this dress would also look nice with more length and sleeves.

I'm quite fond of Kate Hudson. I love her nudes in this photo. And the dress! Yes, we can wear it! :)) (Let's not forget to cover up the arms!!!) Hijab with a full on sleeveless top don't look good. I've seen it in person, so trust me. :)



Ah... Blake Lively... I'm ashamed to say I watch Gossip Girl. I'm too old for it, and it has a lot of inappropriate stuff in it, but I do watch it. Anyhow, see what I mean about the brights worn with nude shoes. Look good? I sure think so!


Remember how I mentioned that nude shoes look even hotter with black outfits? Take a look! I also think it makes the legs look longer. I am definitely going to wear nude shoes with something black... since my closet is mainly black. LOL Hey, I do want to bring colour into my life, but it's just gonna take some time. I started off with colourizing (is that even a word?) my hijab wardrobe. :))

Sarah Jessica Parker... Sex in the City... Do I watch it? Where do you think I got my blog name from? :) Yes, ashamed to admit once again... Anyway, back to the colours... Another example of a nude dress and nude shoes worn together. Very prettyful if I may say so myself.

These shoes are probably more beige than nude, and a size too big on her, but you get my drift with the use of colours. Hmm, a longer skirt, longer sleeves, and a hijab... There you go, a hijabi. LOL I know for some the belt is a no no for hijabis (without anything on top), but nobody is perfect, and I am nobody... NOT hehe I know, bad joke, but read between the lines and you'll know what I mean. :)

Last but not least... the beautiful Angelina Jolie with a pair of flat nudes with a very casual outfit. I think I like the nude flats too. Looks like she aint wearing any shoes! I haven't got any example shots of anybody wearing nude sandals/gladiators in this post, but I am really liking the ones I see.
