saying hello to you all readers

The burq3a

Burq3a – or “burg3a” the local accent is the traditional covering face with the metalic look worn in Gulf area.

Not to be confused with the head to toe burq3a from Afghanistan J

Many people mistakenly belive that burq3a is it made out of a metal, but in fact is it  made from cloth imported from India.

As is customary in the fashion, they are in different forms from country to country over the time, different shades of colors and different names.

The emirates burq3a differ from city to city especially in cutting style.

The Bahraini and Qatari burqa is square-shaped, they don't cut and curve the edges of the eye slits while the Omani burq3a is very large with a strange look.

Our mothers are still far away from wearing it, despite of the development and civilization , this affects co much our area  as I see this custom seems to disappear among us. 

However there are three types of shinny texture in burq3a:

1. Red : the most expansive and highest quality ...

2. Yellow : lower quality of the Red ...

3 Green: a little quality

Style: Something Special

Tis me again, live from Turkey! :)) It's past midnight and the air is JUST starting to get a little cooler. kay, so I have been shopping like crazy for customers the past few days. So far I have some hot stuff from Armine, and I have "used" my sister-in-law to model the outfits for me. I thought it would be a good idea to share some of the styles I put together to give ideas to fellow hijabis.

So today's combination is "Something Special" as I think that it is more suitable for a special occasion, wedding, etc. etc. It is a full length A-line dress with gold coloured embellishments around the neckline. The dress is quite fitted up top, so personally, I believe it is more suitable for a ladies only event --- your choice!

When I look at this dress, I feel it has a certain Arabian air to it. So I decided to wrap the scarf accordingly, and use heavy Arabian-like make-up for a night look.

The scarf is a plain satin twill black square one, but I just wrapped it as if it were a long/rectangular one. I used gold and charcoal eyeshadow from Inglot for the eyes, MAC gel eyeliner pot, Revlon compact foundation, MAC bronzer blush. I decided to go for a light coloured lipstick as the eyes are dark/dramatic.

Another rule with styling such a dress would be "less is more"! Do not over accessorize, do not add colours to it. I personally believe that even a plain gold scarf or patterned scarf would be too much for this dress. To keep it elegant, you can opt to use another scarf. There are some you may be able to find... They are plain black with gold border details. So either that or plain black is the best way to go I say!

Some nice gold bangles and/or gold cocktail ring would also add to this outfit. As for bags and shoes... Go for a gold coloured clutch and gold coloured spaghetti strap heels.

Dara.com Julai Issue

Hi assalamualaikum ;)

Dulukan aku pernah gembar-gemburkan kat korang sume kan yang aku gi photoshoot kat Karangkraf tok magazine Dara.com masa cuti sem hari tu kan kan. Ingat tak Ingat tak? Haa jadi hasilnya pun dah kuar kat Dara.com Julai issue.......... hehe boleh la ramai-ramai beli magazine ni ye kerana FATIN LIYANA SUPPORTS DARA.COM 100% ! Terima kasih banyak-banyak kat pihak Dara.com kerana sudi jadikan aku model dalam ruangan make over.. hehe tak layak la nak jadi covergirl.. pat jadi model pon da kira oraet sesangat tu ;)

Yang ni night make up sebab tu bekgraun die wane itam..pastu muka aku pon ala-ala ngantuk gitu..memang seswai la make up ni untuk waktu malam.....huaaaaargghh (menguap)....kalau tunjuk gambau ni kat baby yang dalam stroller mesti dia nangis terkinja-kinja sebab muka aku besa sgt....peno page.... kalau boleh bersambung ngan page sebelah..dah lame dah editor buat..

Ini pulak day make up so bekgraun die mcm pelbagai warna sket... korang pasan tak ini first tyme magazine Dara.com punya model tak senyum? hehe bese kan sume model senyum happy2 ceria sume kan ? Tengok muka aku ni...seductive giler...Kikiki keji giler aku membawa influence tak elok kepada remaja-remaja yang sedang meningkat tumbesarannya... maafkan daku..

Korang juga boleh jumpa aku di ruangan Klik-klik :) Page tu pasal inner syira yang semakin menjadi-jadi sejak kebelakangan ini.... akulah yang paling gergasi kat situ... warna pon paling striking... kalau pakai camni and dok lam lecture hall..mesti jadi target lecturer... xmo xmo.. biasa aku pg klas pakai baju sama warna dengan kusi lecture hall...baru lecturer terkeliru sebentar hahahahahaha teknik penyamaran yang bagus bukan?

Selain Dara.com, aku juga memperagakan tudung Mawaddah Boutique. Tudung dia memang kelass, berkualiti dan sedap pakai ala-ala Ariani, Pearl Haya & etc. Jangan lupa singgah ye kat Mawaddah Boutique :) Poster atas ini akan dipublish kan kat Metroliv Julai edition. Metroliv ni pulak akan diedarkan di seluruh Seremban....aku harap..rakan-rakan yang dah lama lost contact ngan aku jangan tepon aku guna no tepon kat atas ye...sebab Mawaddah Boutique ni bukan aku punye...kang owner dia hobin blakang den camno...

Yang aku pasan kan, abg Midi yang merangkap photographer Mawaddah boutique ni die suke benau gambar aku yang expressionless. Macam gambar paling besar kat ats ni. Bagi aku sumpah tak cantik wuwuwuwuw sedih. Aku lagi suke expression muka aku mcm gambar kecik yang 1st tu. Ceria sikit. Tapi takpelah, different people different views kan. Kite tengok cantik die tengok tak cantik. Redho jelah yang muke tu yang sebenarnye tak cantik hehe. Banyak songeh tol la aku ni T_T.

Apepon, inilah my very first tyme shoot depan dslr. Sebelum ni tak penah langsung! Aku mmg takde experience langsung pose2 depan camera mahal ni, stakat tangkap gambar kampung2 ngan kawan biasa lahkan, itupon pakai camera phone je. So kiranya, masa aku balik cuti sebulan ritu lah, aku baru diexposekan dgn dunia photography ni..eceh.. banyak benda aku tak tau, posing2, face expression, smile with eyes, strong angle aku ape, weakness angle aku ape & so on lah. So disini aku mintak maaf banyak-banyak eh kalau korang tak suka tengok gambar-gambar aku, rasa meluat sebab aku stiff ke ape ke kan atau rasa macam 'alah dia ni takdela cntik mane pon' ... Saya budak baru belajar, masih banyak lagi yang saya masih taktau, insya-allah kalau diberi peluang lagi, saya akan cuba buat yang terbaik ! Teruskan beri sokongan kat saya ye, time kasih rakan2!

p/s : bende2 mcm ni mmg ada sentimental value. at least ada bahan nak belagak kat cucu-cicit nanti. baru engko tau nenek ko ni stylo mase mude2. haha
